Around 5 or so hours on this one. Most of the time was spent on the palm tree. Referenced heavily used for design and color (thanks to the person who has that uploaded on sxc). I really liked the pibture and decided that I wanted to draw it.
I had a WIP of this somewhere in my gallery or scraps, but I scrapped that one and started over because I found out some new methods.
BTW, that strange large black border around the image was put there in case I decide to make a print for it. (prolly for myself to buy a copy of
